Today for those who wondered about Bill's reference in yesterdays clip, here's a moral quandary turned on it's head as only the mad mad mad mad mind of CTTW can.
Christine explains that lying "disrespects the person you are lying to" and thus why her logically implied "respect" for Hitler would prevent her lying to him if she had Jews in the attic.

The breaking story for the moment of course is Christine's creative accounting.
Apparently there's a reason she runs for office so often:
She needs the money to pay her rent.
Don't take my word for it, her former campaign manager has made a sworn statement.
Plenty more to come on her criminal activities including fraud and misuse of campaign funds.
Boy, isn't witch-hunting fun?

I'm sure you know this.
You put a lot of effort into damaging one woman's reputation.

Well actually, slander would require that I am knowingly saying that she is doing things she is not doing. I avoid saying what she is doing, as she does a great job of convicting herself with her own outrageous statements like this one.
ReplyDeleteAthough her sentences are structured differently than mine, I am only quoting her own words, as usual. When presented with this moral dilemma, of whether or not to lie to Hitler, she says she would never lie to ANYONE because "when you lie you disrespect the person you are lying to"
In this instance "the person you are lying to" whom she would not lie to because it "disrespects the person you are lying to" is Hitler, thus she is saying that she respects Hitler, at least enough to not lie to him.
To her credit, she is saying she respects all people, which is in some ways a laudable position to take, if a bit zany when applied to real life situations like this one.
As to your questioning of my motivations, yes, back in ye ole dark ages high school, my alma mater, Christine was busy going on (to use her words) "dates...with a witch".... As a good witch hunter, I was opposed to this, and desperately jealous. I knew there was a good God fearing girl in there somewhere behind all the (to use only her own words again) "witch-craft", and the "Satanic Altar"s and the "Hare Krishna" lentil dahl, I knew someday that she would be lured out of the darkness, and I secretly hoped I would be her pious prize, but alas, she chose "Meatballs" instead of me.
"I love meatballs" she said. Not "I love you Tobias Slater witch locator", as I had hoped. With those words my heart was forever broken, though not so much when I learned of her hardcore position for celibacy and against masturbation.
Ok, I take it all back, that was just a humorous comedy joke. The truth is I am passionate about exposing the madness of her words deeds and political agenda, because she is trying to take America back to the dark ages, which would be tragic for all of us.
She is not just a person minding her own business, living her own life who is being mocked and derided cruelly by folks like me.
ReplyDeleteShe is trying to become a public legislator, as a Senator in the legislature of our federal government where she would have power over my life and yours.
She is not trying to be left alone, she is putting herself in my face, spending a lot of money and TV time, trying to become a US Senator, where she would be able to pass or block laws to hurt or help you and I and everyone else.
Christine O'Donnell has made herself, her questionable integrity and her radical positions and ideas everyone's business.
The day she retires from politics is the day I will retire this blog.
